SAVE SITIO BOTLOG GAMAY PROJECT
Save Sitio Botlog Gamay, a pilot project of Life Xtenders on rebuilding of homes
SAVE SITIO BOTLOG GAMAY, LX’s pilot project on rebuilding of homes is an offshoot of the organization’s series of relief operations and rebuilding of homes project all over Northern Iloilo.
LX spearheaded the Save Sitio Botlog Gamay project. This project is a collaboration of the Private and Public Partnership (PPP). Together with the assistance of various groups, in the private sectors, NGOs and friends, LX was able to turn this rebuilding of homes project into a reality in strong coordination with the LGU of Concepcion and Iloilo province.
OUR GOAL: To rebuild their homes, help them regain their human dignity and have their lives back.
Thank you so much to our generous donors, selfless volunteers, partners, and the LGU of Concepcion for making this project a huge success. 51 families, 264 people, now have roofs over their heads. Most important of all, these people regained their dignity and have their lives back. In return, they also taught us precious lessons: faith, hope and love. The video documentary below is a tribute to all those who helped us in this project.
The success of the Save Sitio Botlog Gamay project gave birth to our Rebuilding of Homes Program.
More aid poured DIRECTLY to the island from other organizations as well.
